nAssist IoT is a software platform, which we provide as a service (Platform-as-a-Service) to different industry sectors and commercial profiles, as a good example nAssist has been adopted by clients in the manufacturing, services (telcos/utilities), industrial, health and security segments. Partners like VARs, Integrators and developers are also taking advantage of the new business opportunities offered and they are creating their own products and services.

In business terms, Sensing & Control (S&C) targets a horizontal market; our customers manufacture products in the automotive, appliances, electronics, sensing and communication industries; all of these include web & mobile apps on top of a backend infrastructure for their connected products. Hence, our partners created vertical solutions for different market segments.

S&C provides the backend infrastructure portion. S&C customers take this infrastructure and build up “applications” on top of the nAssist IoT platform. To make this “horizontal market” approach viable, we have identified a list of needs that are generic to the majority of our potential customers and then package up these needs as a “product” called nAssist IoT.
