Asset Mapping’s platform is a vendor-agnostic system that gathers real-time data from any metering sensor and IT system monitoring heating, cooling, lighting and security inside buildings. This data is combined with contextual asset information to give operators and machines the data they need to make optimised decisions.
The rich data gathered is provided in flat files to the cloud, so it can be used by business applications, complex event engines, big data analytics and new cloud services, such as IBM Maximo and Salesforce’s IoT Cloud.
Asset Mapping’s platform is fully scalable, thus prepared to manage data from billions of connected devices on the edge.
Using Hypercat as a standard, Asset Mapping is able to show the data in an open way. This allows a device to declare what it is and where it is to any application and allow for real plug-and-play IoT architecture to develop.
